Program Outline
XVR is proud to offer academic bursaries for Club athletes looking to attend post secondary institutions. These bursaries are meant to recognize student athletes who excel in school and who represent the very best that Crossover Basketball has to offer. These bursaries are ONLY available for Crossover Basketball Club athletes.
To qualify ...
- You must submit a copy of your current report card
- You must maintain an OVERALL average of 75% or higher in all courses
- You must be an active Crossover Basketball Club athlete with minimum 2 years experience with the club.
- You must submit a 500 word essay outlining what your post secondary goals are as well as how Basketball has prepared you for this next step in your life.
A maximum of FOUR bursaries ($500 each) will be awarded yearly to qualifying athletes, for as long as the program exists.
All entries will be reviewed by our Board of Directors, and chosen recipients will be informed once our Board has made its decision.
Our first set of bursaries will be awarded in May 2024 (2006 grads).
